Mass to PA in a month

Okay so we've been "slightly" busy but I am going to try to blog more now!  Chris got an awesome opportunity to join Glaxo Smith Kline in PA in January this year. We accepted their offer right before Christmas and told the kids on the ride to Indiana. So Chris started his new job Jan 28, came home that weekend, we packed up our house and came to PA (about 30 min outside of Philly). We had been feeling like God was planning to move us the past year and it was clear when this job popped up. So after the movers packed us up. We had to clean the house. It was so funny how the kids wanted to help.

Had to take a picture of Chris...I might never see him this way again!

Little break for some "Say say oh play mate"

Window washers, seriously, I never knew!

Poor G, after an hour nap in the van, I brought him in and he napped some more!

Chris LOVES his job! We do too, because we see him SO much more now. I love his hours! He is always home around 5, which means he always eats dinner with us! :)  At first I couldn't decide if the kids and I should stay in MA to finish the semester and try to sell the house, but after praying, it was obvious that we needed to come to PA asap and be together as a family. So here we are, I'm homeschooling the kids, after 2 weeks I can say it is going really good. We are getting into a groove. Gavin is still struggling sharing me with Allie & Syd when we are doing school work :) he's been really spoiled having me to himself the past year. We now live 6 hours closer to our families. That is HUGE for me...I can now drive it by myself with the kids in one day. We are planning a trip next month!
There were positives and negatives with moving so fast. The good-byes were not drawn out and that made it easier, but now it is hitting me that we are onto another chapter and I have said good-bye to my New England life :(.  I made such awesome friends there and just thinking about things like how my women's bible study group will be meeting tomorrow morning, which I LOVED...makes me feel sick at my stomach. But I know from moving before that the next 6-12 months will be the hardest and then it gets easier. Another negative is that our house is empty to be shown to possible buyers...the positive, I never had to deal with even one showing! ;)  The hardest was saying good-bye to our church friends. They were the ones we had gotten so close to and raised our kids with for the past 5 1/2 years :(. We daily pray for God to show us His will for us and having total peace about this move helps me to have faith that God has plans for us here. He is going to use us and we will at some point feel like it is home here.
For now our address is 59 Soldiers Square, Chesterbrook, PA 19087. We are renting a townhome for 6 months and then hopefully we'll know where we want to buy and find a house.

they were so excited to see our new place.
