Easter

This Easter was special. My parents flew in to be with us! This has been the first time to have family with us on Easter in 5 yrs. We were super excited!  We picked them up at the Boston airport and came home to dye eggs.  

Then we got ready and headed to church. ;)

Easter morning we woke to a beautiful day. God is Good!  We checked out our easter baskets and discussed the Resurrection eggs. Later we did an egg hunt. It was so funny. They are all at such different stages; Allie-quickly went inside to sort her eggs and candy; Syd-didn't want to open any and begged to hide them again the minute she finished; G-found one egg at a time, plopped down and worked on the wrapper, ate his candy then took off for another one! ;)

Then we sat down to enjoy our Easter meal.

Play date

Before Easter, Syd had a play date with her friend Chloe Hardy. They had a blast! First they played with Allie's salon...G was happy to be their client. haha

  (those are fake scissors by the way).

 When G went down for a nap, we decided we'd do some pampering.

They are soaking their feet to begin our pedies.

 We made shrinky dinks and watched them bake as our toenails dried.

 Love this one!!! 

 They were so excited as they we got down to the countdown to take them out!

 They set up a little people village in the end.

It was a joy filled day. They spent all day with NO fighting, pretty impressive for 4 and 5 yr olds!

Here is the end result of their toes ;)  It's so easy to make little girls happy!
